Born and still a resident of Portland, Oregon, she recently archived an Associates Degree in Multimedia & Web Design from The Art Institute of Vancouver in British Columbia, Canada. Riika began creating websites over 12 years ago, when she taught herself HTML. She has been using Adobe Photoshop for 11 years and has a background in Black & White Photography, both traditional and digital. In 1998, while Riika was still attending high school, she was chosen to attend a prestigious art program at Oregon State University called Jumpstart!, where she studied Traditional and Digital Photography. After that she continued to be involved with the Photography by shooting for the school yearbook and newspaper (where she was also a writer) until she finished high school in 1999.

Some of Riika's guilty pleasures include: Music, Photography, Reading, watching movies and television on her 37" flat panel TV. She also loves her two "ki-ki's" Twista and Ronin, as well as her puppy dog, Sydney.

Gennie was born and raised in Bluefield, West Virginia. She moved to Savannah, Georgia about nine years ago. She is married to Jason and they have one son. When she’s not blogging or creating skins, she’s reading a juicy Regency novel and dreaming of Keith Urban. ;) She was blogging back before blogging was even a word. Knowing that her site needed to reflect her personality, she decided to create her own layouts. She slowly taught herself graphic design (primarily with Paint Shop Pro), as well as blog scripts and software. And then she met Riika in an Alias chat. We both shared similar interests, such as blogging and design. She truly loves creating skins/layouts for other bloggers and she looks forward to helping you on your next design.

Michelle grew up in Washington State and got married right out of High School. Shortly after, she and her hubby moved to Montana and then finally settled in Surprise, Arizona ! She started a free graphics site in 2000 offering web site design and blog templates. In 2002 she got pregnant and had her first child. After being away from the online community for a few months she came back and maintained her own personal site. Now that she has some extra time on her hands she is ready to have some fun designing again!

Michelle has knowledge using Adobe Photoshop, Jasc Paint Shop Pro, Microsoft FrontPage, MovableType and WordPress. A couple things that make Michelle happy are listening to her favorite band, Depeche Mode, and rainy days.
